Rotaract Blue Raises $1k in support of Derek Haines’ Hospice Fundraiser

Rotaract Blue raised just over a thousand dollars in support of Derek Haines’ six for hospice fundraiser. Club members were out by Hurleys and Cost-U-Less over the weekend collecting donations. Alice Ramos, the Vice President of Rotarct Blues, says Mr. Haines’ cause isadmirable and members from her club were eager to get out and raise funds.

Deputy Governor Franz Manderson and 675 civil servants walked or ran the five kilometer challenge set by the public service boss to raise money for Derek Haines’ own marathon challenge, which aims to raise $1million for the local hospice.
